The condition of the above obligation is such, that if

Teachers Wanted
4 S the present Rector of the Do Kalb county Aca
demy, Mr IvIDDOO, declines continuing longer
than the present term in that capacity, the Trustee#
are desirous of making early arrangements for employ
ing both a male and a female Teacher, to take tho
charge ofthe Institution on the 1st of January, 1832,
They would prefer a married gentleman whose lady
might be willing and competent to instruct in the Fe
male Department. The object of the Board is to ob
tain the services of such persons ns intend making a
business of leaching for a nnmhnr of year a Arrange
ment* have been made for supplying tho school with
Mops, Globes and other apparatus ; and the Trustees
are determined to afford ns great inducements, to par
ents and guardians to patronize this seminary, as can
be held out by any other in this section of tho country.
The Board would have no hesitancy in recommend
ing the village of Decatur in which the Academy is si
tuated, iis a healthy place; anrf wouldaav that nnfrarg
need he entertained by thjise who have heretofore been
accustomed to a moro Northern climate. Letter* ucf-
