The greet peculiarity and excellence of Dr. ChrMie’s Galvanic Cwattvn, consists in the feet that they arrest end care dis- ease by outward application, in place of the uiual node of dragging and physicking the patient, till exhausted Nature sinks hopelessly nnder the in fliction They ttrenglhon the whole system, equalize the cir culation of the hlood, promote the eeertliont. and merer do the elitthteet injury under any circumstances. To illustrate the use of the Galvanic Belt, suppose the case of a person afflicted with thxt bane of civilization, DYSPEPSIA, or any other Chronic or Nervous Disorder. In ordinary cases, stimulants are taken, which, by .their action on tbe nerves and muscles of the stomach, afford tempo rary relief but which leave the patient in * low er state, and with injured faculties, alter the action thus excited has cessed. Now compare tbis with the effect resulting from the application of the GAL VANIC BELT. Take a Dyspeptic sufferer, even in the worst symptoms of an attack and simply tic the Belt around the Body, using the Magnetic c i" :,<w 1f riirrrtTli. Ip 1 the inaensh ble perspiration will act on roe pdnitfa^, afumggf ^ of the Belt, thereby causing a Galvanic circulation which will pass on to the negative, and thence back •gain to the positive, thus keeping up a continu ous Galvanic circulation throughout the svstem. Thus the most severe cates of DYSPEPSIA are PERMANENTLY CURED. A FEW DAY'S IS AMPLY SUFFICIENT TO ERADICATE TUE DISEASE OF YEARS. Da. A. H Chbistie—Dear Sir: You wish to know of me what has been the result in my own case, of the application of TH E GALYA N!C BELT AND NECKLACE. My reply is as follows : For about twenty years I had been sugering from Dyspepsia. Every year the symptoms be came worse, nor could I obtain permanent relief from any course of medical treatment whatever. About fourteen years since, in consequence of fre quent exposure to the weather, in the discharge cf my pastoral duties, i became subject to a sever** Chronic Rheumatism, which for year after year,’ caused me indescribable anguish. Farther: in tbe winter of ’45 and ’46, in consequence of preachinr a great deal in my own and various other churches in this region, J w as attacked by the Bronchitis, which soon became so severe as to reouire an im mediate suspension of my pastoral labors. My nercoun system was now thoroughly prostrated, and as my Bronchrtis became worse, so also djd my Dys pepsia and Rheumatic affection—thus evincing that these disorders were connected with each other through the medium of the Nervous Sys tem. In the whole pharmacopei a there seemed to be no remedial agent which could reach ana recuperate my Nervous System ; every thing that I had tried for this purpose had completely failed.. At last 1 was led by my friends to examine your inventions, and (though with no verv sanguine hopes of their efficiency,) I determined to try the effect of the application of the GALVANIC BELT A ND NECKLACE, with the MAGNETIC FLUID.
