White Silk Fringes. spring of 1850, was stabbed, the wound thought to be mortal; the. same fall was knocked senseless and cold by lightning; in the fall of 1851 was run over by fur mules and a wagon; last winter fell from the third-story window, lighting upon a pile of stones; about six weeks since was shot, three balls entering his body. .The hero of all these ugly accidents is still alive and healthy, being fesevvod, doubtless, for somo other kind of shuffling off this mortal coil.
