atiaulants are taken, which, by their action on the
nerves end muscles of the stomach, afford tempo,
vary relief; bat which leave the patient in a lower

the effect resulting from the application of the GAL

in tke worst symptoms of an attack, and simply
lie the Belt around the Body, using tha Magnetic

For about twenty years f had been suffering

Chronic Rheumatism, which for year after veer,
caused me indescribable anguish. Farther: in the
winter of ’45 and ’46, in consequence of preaching
a great deal in my own and various other churches
in this region, I was attacked by the Bronchitis,
which soon became so severs as to require an im
mediate suspension of my pastoral labors. My
uni on, system was now thoroughly prostrated, and
as my Bronchitis become worse, so also did my Dys
pepsia and Rheumatic affection—thus evincing
that these disorders were connected with each
other through the medium, of the Nervous Sys
tem. In the whole pharmacopeia there seemed
to be no remedial agent which cr uld reach and
recuperate my Nervous System ; every thing that
I badtried for this purpose had completely foiled.
At last 1 w as led by my friends to examine your
inventions, and (though with no very sanguine
hopes of their efficiency,) I determined to try the
effect of the application of the'GALVANIC BELT
AND NECKLACE, with the MAGNETIC FLUID.
