Any persou can become a member of the Library As sociation, by contributing five dollars to buy books, or as wc suppose to aid in the erection of the hall. Mem bership may also bo obtained by lending to the association ten dol lars worth of books. Ample provis ion is made that proper care shall be taken of all books entrusted to the Librarian. When the institution is fairly on foot, arrangements will be effeoted to rent the books at a price within the reach of all. Thus the benefits will be brought within the reach of all. We say success to the enterprise—abundant success we wish it. As a matter of course the library will be slow in its growth; but it will have a long time to grow.
