A Sad Affair. Last Friday evening Mr. Martin Harris, a citizen of this county, and a very clever man, left this place for his home, about se.ven miles distant. It will be remembered that it was a very cold night. He was found on the road side between Cedar town and D. A. Whitehead’s. When conn* up on he was fighting fire—his clothing from his waist up being all nearly burned off. The theory is that he iiud put a lighted cigar in his vest *pookct and it ignited his olothing.
