What became of all the negroes that said they were Democrats at, the primary election for Representative in this coun ty? They promised to support the Democratic nominees throughout ; from President down to member of Legisla ture. Those that promised to vote the Dem ocratic ticket, and failed “are liars and the truth ain’t in them,” and the base scoundrels that, caused them to violate their sacred pledges are a long sight meaner than the negroes. In the future, let white Democrats, and them onlv, control the deliberations of the oart\, and act in the selection of i‘s candidates. Let’s draw the line and make every body step from off it and on one side or the other. “Ye can’t, serve two masters. Ye’ll love the one and hate the other.” The first, day of December will he long remembered in the annals of Conyers, tor on that, day one of the greatest shows on the earth will <ivi a grand holiday exhibition to our citizens. On that day the famous John Robinson’s World’s Exposition will pitch its tents, and pres ent to the public Ibo vast wonders of a grand pjenagene. Aquarium and com plete Circus Old John Robinson’s name and fame are two well known to require much notic -, but this season he he has gone so far ahead of all prior ef forts, that we yield him our memorial ii - dorsement, knowing how well he merits it. He seems to spend his immense Wealth with a generous hand, and fins this season lavished over sixty thousand dollars more upon his tn imiiioth show, which has already cost over one million of dollars. The intrinsic merit of his vast concern made him a success, and the oid idage that ‘success makes suc cess is full' proved fry his lifelong ex perience and the liberal indorsement of ministers and families, as well as the public in geneial. He lias lately added several new features to Ins Caravan, ill* clud ng Giraffes, an immense Rhinoceros, Sea Lions, Labrador Seals, a giant Os trich, the largest performing Elephant in America, Asiatic and A naan Lions, forty new cages an* l dens ol wild (leasts from every quarter of the globe, and a iso added many new thorough bred horses to the Circus, and engaged some of the best riders and gymnasts ol Europe and America. The entire show is so va*i that a pen description can not do ii jus tice, hut we advise the public to go end see it on December Ist, and the day win be ever alter remembered with pleasure. The grand street parade, which is said o excel anything lit the Uniied States, will take plaee on the morning of the exhibi tion. Remember the cay, December Ist at Conyers. One day only. The great, political contest is over. The battle is ushed. and the ceil inn i victory is won. Lei the people tvj 'ice, for the country is redeemed.
