Dear Siu—l have heard very many sources
of the great success of Vrfgctine in eases of
Scrofula, Rheumatism, Kidney Complaint, Oa
turrk, and other diseases of kindred nature. I
make no hesitation in saying that I know Veg
etine to be the u ost reliable remedy for Ca
tarrh and General Debility.
My wife has been troubled with Catarrh for
many yea-s, and at times very badly-, She has
thoroughly tried every supposed remedy that
we could li.-ar of, and with all this she has for
several years been gradually growing worse,
uild the discharge from the head was excessive
and very offensive.
She was in this condition when she commen
ced to take Vogetme ; I could see tlu.t she was
improving on the second bottle. Hhe contin
ued taking the -V egetiitb until she had used
from twelve to fiftoeu bottles. lam now hap
py in informing you and tho public (if you
choose to make it public) that she is entirely
cured, and Vegotine accomplished the euro af
ter nothing else would. Hence I feel justified |
in saying that Vegotine is the most reliable
remedy, and would advise all buffering human
ity to try it, for 1 believe it to be a good, hon
est, vegetable medicine, and I shall not hesitate
to recommend it- I am, Ac., respectfully,

IT STOPS EVERY LEAK,
and for tin or iron hog no equal, as it expands
by heat, contracts by cold, and never cracks
dot scalee. Roofs covered with Tar Shunting
Felt can bo made water-tight at a small ex
pjnse, and preserved for many years.
Thu Slate Paint is
EXTREMELY CHEAP.
Two gollons will cover a hundred square feet of
shingle ltxrf, while on tin, iron, felt, matched
hoards, or any smooth surface, from two quarts
to one gallon are reqnirea to 100 square feet of
.surface, and although the paint has a heavy
body it is easily applied with a brush.
So Tar is used in this Composition,
therefore' it neither cracks in Winter nor inns
in Summer.
On decayed shingles, it fills tip the holes and
pores, and gives anew substantial roof that
will last for years. Curled or warped shingles
it brings to their places, and keeps them there.
It fills up all holes in felt roofs, slops the
leaks —and although a slow dryer, rain does not
affect it a few hours afterupylying. As nearly
all paints that are black contain tar, be sure
