with them and tlicir successors, desire to oc
incorporated under the corporate mane of
“The Georgia Car Company.” The objects of
their association are to manufacture and re
pair cars, car-wheels and axles, and every
thing?.? pertaining to tire same, for the pur
pose of pecuniary 'profits, and the particular
business they propose carry on is the man
ufacture and repairing of cars, c.vr-whee sand
axles and everything appertaining to the
same. The place ot carrying on £ aid business
will be Cartersville, in Bartow' county, Geor
gia, but petitioners desire to sell what they
may manufacture or repair wherever they may
dud a market therefor. The amount of capi
tal to be employed in said business.is twenty
thousand dollars, ten per cent, of which lias
been actually paid in, but petitioners desire
that they may be authorized to increase said
capital stock to fifty thousand dollars if they
deem it advisable. Petitioners desire to be
incorporated .for twenty years with the right
of renewal at the expiration of said time, au
tin y be authorized to have and use a common
seal, to sue and be sued, to purchase, hold, sell
mortgage or convey such property, real and
peisonal as they may desire and find necessary
- for the objects and business of their incorpo
iraton and make such by-laws, and the same to
alter at pleasure, as may be proper
and consistent w ith the law, and do any and
all other proper, legal and legitimate filings
necessary or advantageous to them in the car
rying out of the objects and business afore
said.
Wherefore petitioners pray that, after due
compliance with the law, they and their suc
cessors may be incorporated for the purposes
in the manner and with the powers and privi
leges herein set out.
And petitioners will ever pray, etc.
