His term was out on the chain gang last Wednesday, when Mr. Robinson weftt down, nabbed him, and he i# ttow in jail here awaiting the officer of the penitentiary to come for him. Florida. —F ruin a letter front Greenwood, Florida, we learn that cotton planting had begun in earnest on the £2nd of March, and that some cotton was up. The thermometer stood at 32 degrees, and that a kill ing frost was the cdnsefjuence. 1 his is something s'range for the Land of Flowers at this season of tilb year.
