recent rise in cotton has put, a lively piase
on business out there and farmers are in
better spirit. They report tin ir State
Fair a success, and say that politics are
lively. Tilden is a favorite there
friends in a majority. Our columns are

Our cotton buyers pay Columbus pri
ces for cotton, and as a consequence are
bujing a'.fair portion of all t hat is brought
here. We call attention to our quotations
elsewhere.

Fannie O’Neal, daughter of Mr. Ed
O’Neal, were married at the resi
dence of the bride’s father, near
Kingsboro, llev. W. E. Jones of
West Point officiating. We wish
them a most prosperous voyage.
