Lunar having disposed of his interest in the Hamilton Jot bnal to Mr. M. F. Hood, the firm of Lamar & Dennis is dis solved by mutual consent. The Jouenal will hereafter l>e published by M F. Hood and J. L. Dennis, under the firm name of J. L. Dennis <fc l 0., Mr Dennis retaining the position of editor. All contracts for subscription and adver* tising made by the old firm will be fi led by the new who have the booki, and to whom all monies due the old firm for sub scription or advertising should be paid. The new firm respectfully solict a contin •nance of the liberal patronage heretofore bestowed upon the Jojbnal and shall strive to merit au increase. The Legit-lature adjourned last Saturday to meet egrin on the first Wednesday in Jily. The days will be longer then and of course we will get proportionately more ■work of the m- tubers.
