A11 Interesting Occasion.
The Wednesdey night
; at the Methodist church are
sions of unusual interest. They are
designed to be free and easy social
gatherings for mutual religious 11 -
struction, rather than stiff and formal
“prayer meetings.” The pastor of
the church desires to combine in
them, in the course of a single hour
a prayer meeting service, a condensed
sermon, a conference, a bible class,
an experience meeting, a singing
school and a sociable.
The Sunday School lesson of the
succeeding b.ble'or Sabbath is the topic, and
with lesson paper in harul
every one present is invited to tau
p av t, in commenting in a con versa
tional manner, upon the lesson as a
whole, or upon any part of it.
