a fish pond of elegant design and

The Leader.
It is a pleasure in buying an article
to feel that you are getting full value
for your money, Those who buy of
Thomas, the “No Shoddy” dotheir,
may rely, with absolute certainty up¬
on his representations. He long
since eschewed cheap shoddy cloth¬
ing as a delusion and a snare, and
for years has dealt in only the best.
He is every day convinced by renew
ed evidences of public favor that his
policy is wise and just. He is happy
in the knowledge that the people ap¬
preciate merit, that they acknowledge
the best to be the cheapest, and that
the best to be had of Thomas.

Walker’s bridge on ti e road from this

meanness tcre up all the school books
and broke the slates in the house,
belonging to the school taught by

is so unusual and so outrageous that
it would not be well for the perpetra-j

outraged community. No pains

the perpetrators and bring them to
