JACOH’S Choltra, Dysentery and Di arrhoea TU ?5 greut success that lias attended the treat ment ol all bowel dis uses with “jacob’s Cor dial,” lor the lust fwuivc months, lias induced the proprii tors to go largely into the manufacture of it. No expense or pains have been spared in g< f img it up, and as regards ns external appeal ances , we can say without contradiction, inui it very f„r sui passes every other preparation now out in the United Stales. The boil 1.6 were made expresslv fur the purpose, having the toll>u mg Wolds Mown in tlie glas.-: — “Jacob's Cholera He Dysentery Cor dial." — i lie bottle together with a finely printed pamphlet, is inclosed in a fine steel engraved wrapper withs. ur vignettes; and tins also upon the top oi the butile over the outside wrapper, a finely engraved fi:c simile and signature of “W. As to its merits as a remedy in Dysentery, Dinr rhtett, and Cholera Morbus, we believe it very far surpasses every other preparation of the kind now before the public. It is a reliable preparation, safe, speedy, and ef lectual; and the trial even ol one dose, by the al ffictcd, will tu:ly prove the truth of our assertion, that a preparation never was given to (tie publie .hut h id so effectually, and in so siiort a time relieve. The formula lor ttie preparation was first used by one of liie proprietors in Ins private practice, some eight or ten years ago, and lias been m Ills bunds li'om lhai time up lo (he present, an almost never failing remedy m bowel affections. Physicians ot intelligence have tested it in tin ir practice, unJ people of enti u neighborhoods tiavealso used it, and one and all, so far as the proprietors have any knowledge, are enthusiastic m ns praise. We have already staled in our pamphlet, that we believed it will elieet a cure 93 cases out of evei hundred, when ihe direction# arc closely followed, arid that eighty out cl the hundred eases, will have become relu ved and cured, tV the time the 2.1 or 3d dose lies been t.. ken. v\ o ground our belief on hut it lias done during the last twe.ve month; so. nearly < very case, so far rs we lin\e In aid, lias not only been cured, but cured Irom taking one or HVoor three doses ot tins medicine. We do n..t regard it by any means a specific: nor do wo b - lieve, or pr. tend to say, tii a it will cure every case; but we do mean to be undeistood, ilial it it is ta ken according to the directions as set forth in the pamphlet, that a great majority of the cases will not only be r< licved but entirely cured. Wo have no fears in regard to its suic. ss, except m some few eases of children. There are many cases of bowel complaints, produced and kept up by the presence ot worms iii the intestinal canal, and so long as tln.se remain, this, or no other Dysentery and Diaribcea preparuti n will do any permanent good. ‘There are also oltciitiuits chrome dischar ges Irom the bowels, produced aim kc pt up in !e ----inales u! a weak and debilitated constitution, pro dueed by “prolnpsus liter.”—So tongas this source oi irritation remains, no permanent benefit can be expected from any remedy, unlit the •cause of tins irritation is removed. \v'c cannot herald it forth in the face and eyes of the whole world, that we can produce ‘“housands of certificates” in relation to the wonderful cures it has effected, fur we iiavc not got them; but we have got a gnat plenty, enough we think to satisfy the most fastidious; and they are no! ceitifie-ites luun ufactun and for the occasion, got. up to dupe the un ware, but are eert finales of men oi worth am/ standing in our midst, and known to m a: ly every person in tins and surionm ing counties.
