Utica, a very fat Dutch tarty, tewing she was
about to be left, made u dive for rite nearest

pressing her mto its fatal mealies, pushed her
from the raUfos it would a large barrel, and'
left a clear track for tho ponderous wheels.—

was seized aud held fast in posdoin by the
station master. A frer hei miraculous rescue,
she insisted upon crawling under 'the rare to
recover name fragments of bre-iJ, Bologna

which she bad lost in her fall, and swore lustily
in Dutch at those who endeavored to prevent
her from rnnning anothei rick of finishing her
meal with a little jam.
