On Monday night, 20th instant, near Aiken, S. C,, two men ware killed—one of them was mimed Wm. Randle, and socially known, in Ids neighborhood, ns ‘Pench Orchard Billy Handle,’ and the name of the other was Taylor. They were loutd dead 011 the line of the railroad, but whether killed by tho cars, or mnrdcred ami placed on the trnck, we have not learned. Monday was the duy of election in Aiken Imiug one of the precincts for holding the election for Sheriff - of Barnwell district, and we understand there was unusually excitement and much dimiputiou. It is .probable the two individuals who were so untimely killed, min gled rather two freely iu the scenes of the day. Augusta Constitutionalist. United States Senators.
