hatched them, but the hogs caught
all of them in a few days except one,
which he now places under hto feath

flies up into a tree to roost, and when
be reaches the limb that ho wishes to

Camp-Meeting.—On last Friday
afternoon some of the tent-holders
loaded their wagons and landed at the
Buck Crock Camp-Ground, and by
Saturday afternoon all of tho twenty-
four large teats were filled as follows:
Preachers tent, Snipes and Wall,
Snipes, Bridges and Snider, JJI.Biv-

McCorkle and Do Vane, Murray and
Collins, Perry and Sons, Burton and

and Batoden, Strange and Moot, Dix
on and Cheney, Put. Stevens, Wesley
Myrlck, Royal and Patton, Mauk
and Varner, McMichael and Hare,
Barrow, Goodson and Womack, and
Williamson and Gay. Besides L. A.
Dorsey and the four or five local
preachers, there were as visiting
ministers: J. M. Austin, J. O. A.
Cook, B. W. Key, J. E. Godfrey, Prof.
Chas. Lane, R. L. Wiggins, R. B.

There seems to be considerable dem
onstrations there in a religious point,
and every order seems to move quite
pacific up to ye local's departure.
There is about room enough for six
more tents to complete the square,
and those vrho contemplate building
should not wait to see whether the
encampment will tost or not, but go
right into it at once, build now ami
be ready for next year. Ono need
not entertain any such idea that the
camp-ground will soon go down, for
the prospects grow brighter every
year, and ere long we can boast of one
of the most prosperous camp-grounds
