Truly may we say that tho human
brain is surrounded by a halo of pow

tho channels of rivers, dries up seas,
defies time, space and climate, re-cre

nature, and enthrones itself as a deity
in tho material world. The throbbing
brain, with every beat, diffuses thought,
plans, improves or models world-wide
schemes for the emancipation of suffer

that eternal, pulsatory brain of the
verse whose thoughts are immutable
laws, and on whose magnetic and

with their teeming intelligences, a

The human brain is surrounded by a
glory of love. It dissipates the shadow
of sorrow by the sunshine of hope; it
enshrines, in perpetual memory, the
grace of the long-departed, and int
twines eglantine and columbine 01
