The Conference was opened yester day with religious services conducted by Rev. W. K. Branham, Sr. Rev. E. P. Birch and Rev. J. P. Howell were announced as superanua- ted by mistake in the proceedings pub lished yesterday. Rev. J. H. Grogan located at his own request. The Committee on Church Build ings made a report which was adopted: Churches 587; with stores 191; ceiled or plastered 189; without ceiling or plastering 398; without stoves 390. The special committee on the me morial from Jonesboro, relative to church property, reported that the Annual Conference had no jurisdiction of the matter. Adopted. Rev. J. E.
