OFFICIAL ROLL.
The official roll of the Forty-third
Congress has been prepared by Mr.
McPherson, Clerk of the House, ns far
ns possible, with the following result:
The full House will have two hundred
and ninety-two members. Of these,
four from Connecticut and three from
New Hampshire were not yet elected,
and three in West Virginia are in dis
pute, one district in Indiana is also in
dispute, and two cases in Arkansas are
without certificates. Of the remaining
two hundred and seventy-nine, one
bundled and ninety are Republicans
and eighty-nine Democrats anil Liber
al Republicans.. The roll will em
brace one hundred and seventy-two new
members, a greater change than ha3
occurred in many years. To the Dem
ocratic side may now be added the
three members elected in New Hamp
shire on Tuesday, and also the three
for West Virginia, for, notwithstand
ing they are in dispnte, they will be
Democrats which ever delegation suc
ceeds. As for the Indiana and Ar
kansas cases, it is most likely that the
Republicans will get the places. Pres
ent appearances indicate that the Con
necticut delegation will stand onp Dem
ocrat to three Republicans, or at best
two and two. These will complete the
much.

the bill raising the salaries of the Pres

and members ofCopgress—the increase
as to the latter to apply to members of
the forty-second, or last Congress—the
Georgia members voted as follows:
. For the increase—Messrs. Bigby
and Whitely, (Radical.*;) and DuBose,
Priceand Young (Democrats.) Against
it—McIntyre (Democrat.) Mr, Beck,
the member from the 4th district, was

the officials named above will be as
follows: President, $50,000 per an
