FOR THE BLIND.
11HE next Term of this Institution com
mences the iirst day of September.
Blind persons, and such as for want of suffi
cient sight cannot be educated in the ordi
nary schools, of good health and sound mind,
between the ages of 8 and 25, are proper sub
jects to become pupils. The indigent of this
State are received free of charge for board
and tuition. The course of Instruction em
braces all the branches of a common English
Education, with Music and some branches of
handicraft. The Institution is well suppli
ed with all the facilities of instruction and
with ample accommodations for a large school.
Information in regard to the existence of blind
youths in this State is earnestly solicited and
also applications lor their admission to the

nights at 12 o’clock, and arrives at Blakely
Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday mornings
by G o’clock.
The Contractor would also respectfully an
nounce to the traveling public, that upon the
above line he has placod a good two horse
Hack, and is himself always on hand ready
and willing to accommodate all who may
wish to patronize him. The public may de
pend on going through safe, in duetime, and

home. Those who fail to report, and stay
over their time, will be reported to Head-
Quarters, and their names turned over to
Cavalry for arrest. Soldiers who are wound
ed or sick, so as to disable them from re
porting to an Examining Board, must furnish
me with their attending Physician’s certifi
cate, stating all the circumstances ati ending
their case, and how long it will be before
they will be able to report to a Board, &c.

A MESSENGER of the Georgia Relief Jfc
Hospital Association will leave Atlan
ta on or near the lOtSof each .month for Mis
sissippi, and will take charge of all boxes and
packages intended for the Georgia troops in
that State, and will carry them to some safe
point near the army and deposit them, and
notify the owners, or deliver them to the/
owners, if practicable, free of charge. The,
boxes and packages must he marked with
the names of the owners, their company und
regiment, and to the care of the Georgia
Relief and Hospital Association, Atlanta,
Ga. The Association wiil not be responsi
ble for any box containing perishable arti
cles, such as green vegetables, &e. Boxes
and packages will be deposited at the Way
side Home, Atlanta, Ga.

and split and over bit in the other—no
brand. The mark ot the second is crop and

der bit in the other—no brand.
The above steers have been sold to tho
Government because they were mischievous.
