homo. Those who fail to report, and stay
ever their time, will l>e reported to Head-
Quarters, and their names turned over to
Cavalry for arrest. Soldiers who are wound
ed or sick, so as to disable them from re
porting to an Examining Board, must furnish
me with their attending Physician’s certifi
cate, stating all the circumstances attending
their case, and how long it. will be before
they will be able to report to a Board, &c.

late of Early county, Ga., deceased, consist
ing of four Negroes, to wit: Charles, a boy
about 13 years old; Milly, a woman about
29 years old, and her two children, Phillis
and Jim, the former a girl about 5 years old,
and the latter a boy about 2 years old. Al

The above steers have been sold to the
Government because they were mischievous.

Tan Yard Notice.

Peter Howard, I am now sole proprie
tor of the Tan Yard heretofore owned by
Howard & Stewart. The Yard will be kept
up as heretofore. Hides will be tanned on
shares as usual.

Blind persons, and such as for want of suffi
cient sight cannot be educated in the ordi
nary schools, of good health and sound mind,
between the ages of 8 and 25, arc proper sub
jects to become pupils. The indigent of this
State- arc received free of charge for board
. and tuition. The course of Instruction em
braces all the branches of a common English
Education, with Music and some branches of
handicraft. The Institution is well suppli
ed with all the facilities of instruction and
with ample accommodations for a large-school.
Information in regard to the existence of blind
youths in this State is earnestly solicited and
also applications for their admission to the

Tan Yard Notice.
THE undersigned having established a
Tax Yard in the 2Gt’h District of Early
county, Ga., will tan all Hides and Skins
brought to them for one-third. Those wish
ing to have their Hides and Skins tanned
cheap, can do so by briuging them to us. The

chie, close to Green’s Mill and Cedar Spring

A MESSENGER of the Georgia Relief &
Hospital Association wiR leave Atlan
ta on or near the 10th of each month for Mis
sissippi, and will take charge of all boxes and
packages intended for the Georgia troops in
that State, and will carry them to some safe
point near the army and deposit them, and
notify the owners, or deliver them to the
owners, if practicable, free of charge. The
boxes and packages must be marked with
the names of the owners, their company and
regiment, and to the care of the Georgia
Relief and Hospital Association, Atlanta,
Ga. The Association will not be responsi
ble for any box containing perishable arti
cles, such as green vegetables, See. Boxes
and packages will be deposited at the Way
side Home, Atlanta, Ga.
