S> COME MONDAY. dt The Robinson Old Store. A Y The Georgia Magnet—A Femin ine Phenomenon. On Saturday next, March 28th Mies Annie'May Abbott, who un der the above title has acquired a reputation for the performance of some extraordinary feats, will ap pear at the Auditorium in Blakely. Judging from the press notices the lady has received she should prove a great attraction. Mr Keen, who is the advance agent, has kindly handed us the following ex tract, which will give the public an idea of this performer’s powers : “Miss Abbott possesses some power, it may be of electricity, to withstand in a truly marvellous manner physical force exercised by ordinary mortals. One of the feats the Magnet performs is this. A chair is held by a gentleman ; Miss Abbott touches it and he finds it to stand still Then other gentlemen, placing their hands between her fingers and the chair, feel no pressure at all on their hands. Again, she holds a chair on her hand, and chal lenges any person to pull it away, yet she uses no physical force to retain it. A stick is placed on her hands, and even five gentlemeif will fail to remove it. She will poise herself on one heel, and defy four or five gentlemen to push her over, or she will stand with her finger tips against a wall and defy them to push her against it. She will lift one, two, three, four, five, six or more gentlemen, separately or all together, while hands inter vening between her and the object on which she lifts them feel no muscular pressure. We have very often seen references to Miss Ab bott’s great performance, and may mention that this talented lady has appeared at all the courts of Eu rope. Her tour through the world has been one gigantic triumph. She has appeared twice by special request before Her Majesty at Windsor, and three times before the Prince of Wales, now King Edward, and all the Royal family.” Miss Abbott is the eighth wonder of the world, and residents should not fail to see her marvelous per formances. Deafness Cannot be Cared by local applications, as they cannot reach the dis eased portion of the ear. There is only one way to cure deafness, and that is by constitutional reme dies. Deafness is caused by an inflamed condition of the mucous lining of the Eustachian tube When this tube gets inflamed you have a rumbling sound or imperfect hearing, and when it is entirely closed deafness is the result, aud unless the inflam mation can be taken out and this tube restored to its normal condition, hearing will be destroyed for ever. Niue cases out of ten are caused by catarrh, which is nothing but an inflamed condition of the mucuous surfaces. We will give one hundred dollars for any case of deafness caused by catarrh that cannot be cured by Hall’s Catarrh Cure. Send for circulars, free. F. J.
