By Old ’Gator.
Hello, how are yoij all this week ?
You know Old ’Gator is feeling fine —
he ha 3 just eaten a fine me<3 of fish,
and you know :.e can’t feel any other
; <?; a y-
Cuba was very lonesome Sunday,
for all the boys were away.
We are having some dry weather
at this writing, but hope to have a
rain before long.
Miss Callie Hoover and Miss Lizzie
Hatcher left Sunday afternoon for
Arlington. We wish for them a jolly
time.
Wonder if any of the girls failed to
go back with the boys that they went
with to Miss Pool’s. Bet I know the
reason.
Mr. Dostor E. Pool and Mr. Charley
Blackburn, of Blakely, spent a few
days last week in the burg and re
turned Sunday.
The Streets are very lonesome now
but hope they will soon liven up!
again. Nearly all have left Cuba, the
girls especially. They are all looking
for beaux I think, but I also think
they might find plenty of them at
home. But I reckon they are looking
for a higher 'simmon.
Mr. V. B. Blackburn and brother,
Clarence, Mr. D. E. Pool and brother,
Bob, and Mr. Charley Blackburn all
went to Langston chapel Sunday and
report a good old time. Guess Old
’Gator saw his best girl, but he says
his best staid at home, but don’t
think she did. I heard a certain girl
singing a little song that made me
feel like I would like to be her cousin.
The song was “Some love one and
some love a dozen; it isn’t any harm
to kiss your cousin.”
