Friends in Blakely of Rev. O. L.
Jones will regret to learn that he was
recently run over on the streets of
Clover, S. C., by an automobile going
knocked down and dragged about
20 feet, breaking several and
his collar bone and received other
severe injuries. He had spent about
eight days in the hospital on the 21st
inst. and expected to have to stay at
home at least two more weeks be
fore resuming his pastoral work. He
had quite a narrow escape from
death.
Elder W. A. Cameron, an evange
list, of Largo, Fla., his wife and two
children, and Mr. C. E. Roberts and
family, of the same town, spent from
Tuesday evening until this morning
“camping” in the city. They are en
route to Bolling Green, Ky.’, to spend
the summer. They arrived in Blake
ly just a few minutes before the
bad weather Tuesday evening and
consequently were caught in it and
would have fared rather badly but for
the hospitality shown them by citi
zens of Blakely. Mr. Cameron says
that he has been traveling for thirty
years and has visited 17 states, and j
in all his travels he has never met ;
with such generous hospitality as
was extended him in Blakely.

for Eugene.
Mr. J. T. Davidson came in last

J. T. was in the big fight for many
months and was slightly wounded
once. He appears well and strong,
weighing considerably more than ,ie
did when he left Blakely to join
the colors. His relatives and friends
were delighted to see him again.
Sergeant Wilmer C. Haynes, who
