to her home in Birmingham, after
spending several weeks with her

Misses Eva and Evelyn Jernigan
have returned from a visit to their
sisters, Mrs. E. T. Willingham, at
Macon, and MYs. D. E. Wilson, at
Atlanta.
The meeting of the Y. W. A.s of
the Blakely Baptist church which
was to have been held Thursday,
July 19th, has been postponed until
Thursday, July 26th.
Col. B. R. Collins has returned
from Atlanta, where he recently un
derwent an operation. His friends
are pleased to learn that he is on
the road to recovery.

Dr. C. T. Alexander and son,
Lynwood, motored down to Panama
City Monday, bringing back Miss
Marguerite, who had painfully hurt
her foot while in swimming in the
bay on Friday.
Mrs. M. N. Ward and granddaugh
ter, Miss Boncile Johnson, of Lump
kin, are visiting at the home of Mr.
E. L. Fryer, Sr., MY. and Mrs. Carl
Fryer going up after them Monday.
Mrs. Ward is Mrs. Fryer’s mother.

going up to Lumpkin last Thursday.
Mrs. Hill remained over for a sev
