DAMASCUS NEWS | Mrs. Annie Coleman, of Colquitt, was among friends and relatives here Monday. Mrs. Martin Sease, of Monticello, Fla., and sister, Miss Naomi Morgan, of Macon, are visiting their par ents, Mr. and Mrs. James Morgan, at present. Mr. M. W. Bass, Sr., wife and son, of Tifton, Mr. and Mrs. Jimmie Bass and four children, and Mrs. M. W. Bass, Sr., of Edison, also Mr. Robert Parr, wife and son, of Arlington, were delightful guests of Lucile Parr Monday. Mrs. Flossie Coleman and children, of Mulberry, Fla., are visiting Mrs. Belle Coleman this week. Mrs. A. C. Fraseur and daughters, Laura and Sue, also her son, Charles, , of Cordele, are visiting friends and relatives at present. —o— The Freewill Baptist revival meet- , ing, after running one week, closed , Sunday night with three new mem- , bera. Rev. E. C. Norris, of North , Carolina, conducted the services, , these being enjoyed by a large con- ; gregation most every time. We are , awfully glad to have had Bro. Mor ris with us and feel that he has Teally been a blessing to our town. We regretted very much to see our 'humble servant leave at the end of this joyful week, but as God saw fit to send him elsewhere, we think it best for him to obey. He is gone, ’tis true, but may we all pray for him wherever he may be. May God bless him and be with him. Card of Thanks. Harris’ little son, T. 8., has been seriously sick. We wish for him an early recovery. Miss Allie Sue Hunt is spending the week with M'isses Mary and Lou Callahan. Mr. Raymond Harris spent Sunday with Mr. Earl Callahan. We are all having a splendid time going to New Hope this w r eek. Mr. Arthur Bush gave his mother and friends a short visit recently.
