POLL OF SECOND
DISTRICT INDICATES
VICTORY FOR COX
(Continued from page 1)
probable poll of two thousand to
twenty-five hundred votes.
I. J. CULPEPPER.
Ed. Camilla Enterprise,
G. B. BAGGS.
Chm. County Com’m’rs.,
J. M. SPENCE,
Senator Eighth District.
COLQUITT COUNTY WILL GIVE
COX BIG MAJORITY.
My opinion is that Judge Cox wil
carry this county by a good majority.
T. Y. BEARD, Sheriff.
Moultrie, Ga.
Colquitt county will go strong for
Cox. ED BLACK.
Doerun, Ga.
SEMINOLE COUNTY STRONG FOR
COX.
1 believe that Judge Cox will car
ry Seminole county by a majority of
550 or 000 votes.
T. E. ROBERTS.
Donalsonville, Ga.
I believe Cox will carry this coun
ty (Seminole) by about 500 votes.
J. M. SHINGLER.
Donalsonville, Ga.
MILLER COUNTY CONCEDED TO
COX.
From what I can find out Cox will
win by a large majority.
J. S. WILKIN.
Colquitt, Ga.
I consider a conservative estimate
of Miller county will be a majority
of 300 votes for E. E. Cox.
UNSIGNED.
Colquitt, Ga.
Have asked several close observers
—all of them think Cox will carry
Miller county. It is also my opinion.
P. D. RICH.
Colquitt, Ga.
BAKER COUNTY FOR COX.
In answer to the above in regards
to the election, my opinion is that
Judge Cox will lead Judge Park by
a small majority, while otners think
he will do better than that.
R. J. GRIFFIN, Sheriff.
Newton, Ga.
My opinion or guess is the race
will be very close (in this county)
and that when the votes are all count
ed out neither will have the advan
tage of the other more than fifty
votes. It occurs a safe forecast
would make it an even break in
Baker county. The Cox supporters
claim Baker, and likewise those sup
porting Judge Park lay claim on it.
It’s mighty nigh no man’s land right
now. Isn’t much enthusiasm one way
or the other and this makes it all
the more difficult to get a line on.
BENTON ODOM, Atty.
Newton, Ga.
THINKS WORTH IS FOR PARK.
Yours of 25th asking as to race
between Judge Cox and Judge Park.
This is Judge Park’s home county
and I hear very little about the
race; in fact, our people are not
saying much about politics at this
time. While I have been a member
of the Georgia Legislature for two
terms and am standing for re-elec
tion without opposition, I am no pol
itician and know very little about
politics, having been first elected as
an anti-politician, simply a farmer
and business man. If any one tells
you how this county will go it will
be only guess work, for no one knows
how they will vote until after the
votes are counted. But this being
Judge Park’s home county, I should
think it would be for him.
C. W. HILLHOUSE.
Sylvester, Ga.
THOMAS COUNTY TO GIVE COX
BIG MAJORITY.
Present indications are Judge E. E.
Cox will carry Thomas county over
Congressman Park by big majority.
There seems to be a great tendency
throughout the county for a change
in this office.
S. W. DAVIS,
Editor The Press,
WM. H. PLATT,
A. B. MILTON,
Chief of Police.
TIFT COUNTY TO GO FOR COX.
I think Cox will carry Tift county
two to one. T. J. PARKER.
Tifton, Ga.
In answer to your inquiry regard
ing the congressional race in this
county I am almost convinced that
Judge Cox will carry tEff'county by
a majority of from two to three hun
dred. I hear so many people say
ing that they had never voted against
Mr. Park, but this time they would
be against him.
J. M. SHAW, Sheriff Tift county.
Tifton, Ga.
DECATUR COUNTY FOR PARK
One Says Small Vote and One Large.
The people have been extremely
busy with their crops and. otherwise
and are consequently manifesting lit
tle interest so far. **l conclude
that Judge Park will probably carry

of the county, and both being most

Does Your Back Ache?
Bad Backs Bring Suffering to Many
Blakely Folks.
Is that dull, constant backache
making you old and miserable? Does
your back throb and ache until it
seems you just can’t keep going?
Do you suffer headaches, dizzy
spells and urinary disorders; feel
weak, tired and worn-out? Then
look to your kidneys. Delay may
mean serious kidney sickness! Use
Doan’s Pills —a stimulant diuretic to
the kidneys. Doan’s are recommend
ed by thousands.
Holmes Horn, farmer, Route No.
1, Hilton, Ga., says: “A cold set
tled in my kidneys and disordered
them. At times they were slug
gish and again I had to get up
during the night to pass the secre
tions, which contained a thick sed
iment. When I stooped a catch
took me in the small of my back
and I had to gradually draw myself
up. I bought a box of Doan’s Pills
at Balkcom’s Drug Store and after
using them, I was completely
cured.”
