King went up to Atlanta Tuesday to attend a meeting of the Executive Committee of the Georgia Baptist Convention, of which he is a member. He will probably be home by Saturday morning. The prayer meeting services tonight will be conducted by Col. B. R. Collins, the Sunday School Superintendent. o » Mrs. Mattie Pearl Miller, wife of Mr. J. T. Miller, of the Cedar Springs district, died at an early hour last Sunday morning rrom child birth. Mrs. Miller was but little over 17 years old. Her remains were car ried back to her former home in Seminole county for interment. Her sorrowing husband and other rela tives have the sympathy of our people in their great distress. Q On account of the fact that the kindergarten has been such a splendid success in connection with the Blakely public school, the Board of Education has arranged fir Miss Mozelle Mosely to teach this class on the same terms as it has here tofore been taught and all parents who desire to enter their children in this Department may do so on Monday morning, the opening day of school.
