THE BLAKELY
BAPTIST CHURCH
SPENCER B. KING, Pastor
We are thinking now only of our
meeting -which begins next Sunday.
Most earnestly do we invite all the
people of Blakely and this section to
come with us and help to make this
a revival indeed. Rev. Harry V.
Smith, pastor of the Baptist church
at Forsyth, one of the choicest of
the younger group of pastors in the
state, will be with us on Monday
afternoon and preach, morning and
night, through the following Sunday.
The hours of service on Sunday
remain and will not be changed, 11
a. m. and 7:45 p. m., but every day
next week there will be preaching at
7:10 to 7:45 a. m. and at 7:45 p. m.
The morning service is placed early
so our business men and the teachers
and young people in our schools
can attend, and then get to their
places before eight.
We are urging all those who will
help in the Choir to come promptly
each night and go directly to their
place. Let us have plenty of vol
ume in our songs, even if we do not
have a “director” to lead us. Ar
rangements have been made to have
a “special” musical number, solo,
duet, trio, quartette, sextette, or
chorus at each service. We have a
number of good voices in Blakely
and we would use them.
