The foregoing schedule of li
cense and/or business and occupa
tion taxes were read to the City
Council and, upon motion duly made
and voted upon, were adopted by
vote of the City Council as the
schedule of license and/or business
and occupation taxes in force and
to be collected by the City of Blake
ly for the year 1953. The city clerk
and city marshal are ordered to
collect the said taxes from all per
sons, firms and corporations doing
business in the city during the year
1953 who are liable for such taxes
as by this ordinance herein pro
vided. Adopted by the City Council
in meeting held on Feb. 20, 1953.
