It Puts You Dollars Ahead!
Just think. With this one implement you get the soil
pulverizing and i
ground leveling ability of a 6-foot
tandem disc harrow and the trash cutting weight and
performance of a bush and bog harrow. You get the
versatility and performance of both type harrows for
little more than the price of one!
As a Tandem Disc Harrow
As a tandem disc harrow, eight 20-inch notched discs
on the front gangs break lar.ge chunks of clay and sod
wi|h ease. Then the ten 18-inch notched discs on the
rear gangs work the ground to complete pulverizing
action and serve as a finishing harrow.
As a Bush and Bog Harrow
With rear disc gangs folded over
the front gangs, this implement
becomes a bush and bog harrow
with approximately ninety pounds
on each of its eight front discs. It
easily churns through tough rank }
growths or surface trash ... helps
convert idle acres to profitable use. i
In both positions, the Dearborn

Low cost SELFCO ammonia nitrogen, the
concentrated liquid nitrogen, can be applied
in larger amounts than dry-type nitrogen
fertilizers at no increased expense. This added
nitrogen in your soil means more profits for
you! Farmers are getting one to two bales of
cotton per acre with SELFCO instead of one
half to one with older nitrogen fertilizers . ..
spending the same amounts for plant food in
both cases. ,It’s the same story with corn: 50
to 100 bushels per acre where 18 was the aver
age on the same investment in solid nitrogen
fertilizer.
