ton Farm Bureau Chapter, ' held last

A. W. Tucker, principal of the
Kilton school, gave a report on the
recent school fire and disclosed plans
for reconstructing the building. The
Farm Bureau group voted to sup
port wholeheartedly any community
project to raise funds for the re
building program.
Early County Forester Gus Wall
presented an interesting program on
forestry management and the serv
ices available through his office on
forestry management. An interest
ing motion picture on Managing the
Farm Woods was shown.
Visitors attending the meeting
were members of the Hilton School
faculty, Mr. Wall and County Agent
and Mrs. D. L. Maxwell.
The Lucie Farm Bureau Chapter
will meet Friday night, April 10, at
the Lucile Community Courthouse,
at 8:00 o’clock. The program will be
a discussion on peanuts—varieties,
fertilization, and cultivation. County
Agent D. L. Maxwell will lead the
discussion. All farmers in the Lu
cile community are invited to this
meeting.

Five 4-H Club girls received 100
New Hampshire Red chickens last
Tuesday to be used as a 4-H Club
project. The girls will care for their

Mrs. Gladys Alexander will be
hostess to the Hilton Home Demon
stration Club Friday, April 10, at

Gordon Tolar, Wednesday, April 15,
at 2:30 o’clock.
The Cedar Springs Home Demon
stration Club will meet in the court
house, Thursday, April 16, at 2:30
