Holland, H. A. Felder, F. D. Grist, Robert Hall, D. D. Knight on, »S. G. Maddox, R. C. Singletary, S. W. Tompkins, Oscar Whitchard and Barney Wynne, hereinafter _ ed applicants, bring this application for the granting of a charter for a private corporation, and show to the Court the following facts: 1. They desire for themselves, their associates and successors, to be incorporat'd under the name BLAKELY BUILDERS AND MAN UFACTURERS. INCORPORATED. The principal office and place of bus iness of said corporation shall be rated in Blakely, Early County, Georgia, with the privilege of estab lishing branch offices and places of business in such other places as may be determined. 2. The applicants are residents of and their post office address is Blakely, Georgia. 3. The purpose and object of said conporation is pecuniary gain and profit to its stockholders. The gener al nature of the business to be trans acted is, and the corporate powers desired are: a. To buy and sell, acquire, own, hold, rent, lease, transfer apd assign both real estate and personal prop erty of every kind and character, and to deal with the same in any way and manner that may seem expe dient. h. To construct stores, warehouses, factory buildings, and buildings of all kinds, and to deal with the same in any manner that may seem expedient. c. To operate stores and warehous es for the wholesale or retail of ’ general merchandise, building mate rials, hardware, machinery of all kinds and character, cotton and cot ton products, and electrical supplies, material, appliances and equipment. To use all such building materials, and other materials, as may be need ed, in the construction of buildings of all kinds. d. To own and operate factories for the manufacture of and sale, wholesale and retail, of textiles, knit wear, fabrics and doth of all kinds and character. e. To have all the powers and en joy all of the privileges enumerated in Sections 22-4827, 22-1828, and 22-1870 of the Code of Georgia, and all of the other powers and privi leges enumerated in Chapters 22-18 and 22-19 of Said Code, and all of the powers and privileges enumerated therein are made a part hereof to the same extent as if the same were quoted herein. 4. Applicants pray that the liabil ity of stockholders in said corpora tion be confined to the unpaid pur chase price of the stock subscribed for each. WHEREFORE, applicants pray to i be incorporated under the name arid style aforesaid, with all the rights and privileges herein set - out and such additional powers and privileges as may be necessary, proper or inci dent to the conduct of the business for which applicants are asking in corporation, and as may be allowed like corporations under the laws of Georgia as they now are or may | hereafter exist. It appearing that the petition is within the purview and intention of the laws applicable thereto, and that all of said laws have been fully com plied with, including the presentation of a certificate from the Secretary of EARLY COUNTY NEWS# BLAKELY. GEORGIA State as required by Section 22-1803 of the Code of Georgia Annotated; It is hereby ordered, adjudged, and decreed that all the prayers of the petition are granted and the appli oants and their associates, sueces sors and assigns are hereby incorpor ated and made and created a body politic under the name and style of BLAKELY BUILDERS AND MANU FACTURERS, INCORPORATED, for and during the period of Thirty-five (35) years, with the privilege of re- 1 newal at the expiration of that time according to the laws of Georgia, and that said corporation is hereby granted and vested with all the rights and privileges mentioned in said petition.
