THE October term of Early Superior
‘Court was convened Monday morning
with Judge C. W. Worrell presiding.
The grand jury was organized with
Mr. Tom Fort as foreman, Mrs. Fitz
Fulton, clerk and Mr. W. J. Kenney
as Bailiff,

THE ENTIRE community was great
ly shocked at the news of the sudden
death of Mr. Britt George last Sunday
afternoon in Houston, Texas, where
he had made his home for some
months.

AMERICUS, GA. — T. H. Grimsley,
age 55, died in a local hospital Monday
afternoon as a result of a collision of
two automobiles on the Albany high
way, three miles from hére.

MR. AND MRS. Bill Duke and
Miss Thelma Duke were week end
visitors in Thomasville.

DR. AND MRS. Price Holland, of
Moultrie, were week end guests of
his mother, Mrs. S. P. Holland.

Mrs. N. B. Solomon is at home after
a several weeks' stay in Birmingham,
where she underwent treatment.

A. W. Powell, of Atlanta, were visitors
in the city Wednesday.

marriage of Miss Mary Spurlin to Mr.
Ralph Middleton. The marriage was

took place Saturday, October 2, in
the study of the First Baptist Church
in LaGrange. Ga.
