The Chattahoochee Tractor
Company is the first dealer to
receive this honor in this area.
The Atlanta Branch embraces
‘hree states: Georgia, Alabama
and Florida. The contest for the
Dealer of the Year began Feb
ruary 25, 1966 and as winner of
the Dealer of the Month title, the
local dealership is eligible to
compete for the Dealer of the
Year,
The Chattahoochee Tractor
Company is only one year old
and the officials attending the
supper were high in their praise
of the growth of the new busi
ness. “Farming is becoming
more and more mechanized all
the time and machines more so
phisticated,” Mr. Hughey said,
commenting on the success of the
organization, service-wise and
sales-wise.
Bobby McLendon, manager, in
accepting the presentation, said
it was a group effort that helped
win the Dealer of the Month
award and expressed apprecia
tion to all employees and part
-lers in the local company.

Major Seeley is an operations
officer in the Pacific Air Forces,

The World War 1I veteran is a
graduate of Kalamazoo Central
High School. He attended Kala
mazoo College and Western
Michigan University.
His wife, Etta, is the daughter
of Mr. and Mrs. Mack Odom, of
Route 5, Blakely, Ga.

Claude Robinson, a 17 year old
graduate from J. W. Holley High
School in Sylvester, Ga., has re
ceived a $2600 scholarship from!
Morehouse College in Atlanta. He
had a perfect attendance during
his twelve years in school with
the exception of one for the fear
of measles.

Claude was Valedictorian upon
his graduation in May, 1966. He
was active in many school acti
vities. including basketball, foot
ball, baseball, school band and
was Editor-in-Chief of the Year
Book.
He is the son of Claude and
Ollie Lee Robinson, formerly of

of Eula Jordan, a teacher and
resident of Early County.

poration is to have existence is
thirty-five (35) years, with the
privilege of renewal of the char
ter, from time to time, upon the
expiration of said periods of
thirty-five (35) years.

State of Georgia as required by
Section 221803, Georgia Code
annotated.
