This, the petition of Billy
Fleming, Jack Sutton and R. D,
Hodges respectfully shows:
1. The post office addresses
of each of the petitioners is as
follows: Billy Fleming, Blakely,
Georgia: Jack Sutton, Jakin,

kely, Georgia.
2. Petitioners desire that they,"
together with their associates and
successors, be incorporated and
made a body corporate and politic
under the name and style of
"EARLY COUNTY RESCUE
UNIT, INC.”, for a period of
thirty-five (35) years, with full
right of renewal as may be pro
vided by law.
3. The principal office of said
corporation shall be in Early
County, Georgia.
4. The object and purpose
of the corporation is to carry
• our general rescue work, in
cluding the rescue of and aid
to persons In peril, and lost
persons, recovery of the bodies
of victims of drowning and other
disasters, and other various res
cue and recovery activities, and
to promote public interest and
cooperation In such activities.
5. Said corporation is not or
ganized for profit, and shall have
not capital stock.
6. None of the property or
net earnings of the corporation
shall ever, at any time, inure
to the benefit of any private
shareholder or individual, nor
shall the corporation have the
power to, or ever carry on pro
paganda or otherwise attempt
jo influence legislation.
7. The corporation shall have
power and authority to accept
gifts and contributions, by will
or otherwise, in any form of
property, provided that the ob
jects specified by the testator
or donor are within the objects
and purposes of the corporation.
All such gifts and contributions
shall be devoted to the objects
and purposes and in all respects
administered according to the
provisions contained In said will
or other instrument making said
gift or donation, to the end that
the wishes and directions of the
testator or donor shall In all re-'
spects be faithfully observed and
executed; provided, however, that
the corporation shall not accept
any gift or contribution which
is to be held or used for other
purposes than those for which
the corporation is chartered.
8. All contributions received
and accepted shall be devoted
exclusively to the purposes set
forth in this charter, the corpus
and the Income therefrom being
perpetually used for such pur
poses.
9. The corporation shall have
all of the powers herein set out,
including all lawful powers
necessary or incidental to the
carrying out of the purposes
