FROZEN FILLETS
BEST BUY
Today's homemaker has a
new ally in her struggle to bal
ance the family food budget
in the face of soaring prices.
Fish, particularly frozen fillets,
are very low in cost compared
with other protein sources.
At the same time they are high
in protein, vitamins, minerals
and health building amino
acids.
Because there is no waste,
a pound of frozen fish fillets
will serve a family of two adults
and two children, according to
Booth Fisheries, world's largest
producer and processor of fro
zen fish and seafood. Depend
ing upon the variety of fillets
purchased, the cost is about 15
to 20C per serving. Equivalent
amounts of animal protein
cost twice that much ... or
more.
