listed in Who’s Who in American
College and University Admin
istrators.
He is married to the former
Joyce Ann McAbee. They have
four children, ages, 19, 11, 7
and 2 years. The Israel family
is active in the Central Baptist
Church, Albany, Ga. Dr. Is
rael’s hobbies include singing,
fishing and gardening.
