The Weekly Demoemt. * THURSDAY;- JUNE 20, 1872. ifecefpt'off'hi Tbc New^ork .World says it is in j| of, letters from Ohio aid Juliana? Written by Demo* crats, “who will not vote for Greeley, even though the pleadings of Cincin nati be joined to the commands of Baltimore.” The melancholy suicides of two beautiful young women at the North are reported. One, married woman in New York, cut her throat because her domestic troubles were greater than she could bear; and the ‘other, a girl of nineteen, took poison and died because she loved a man who did not reciprocate her affection. The Richmond Enquirer, the lead ing conservative journal in Virginia, has come to this conclusion: A mere glance at the situation must convince the most ardent personal supporters of Mr. Greeley that even Villi the indorsement of the Baltimore Con vention he will not be able to carry onc-half of the Democratic vote of the North. Nor will that vote go to Grant; but it will go to some third candidate. A dissatisfied and indig nant faction of the party wiU make a nomination of their own, if for no other purpose than to keep a remnant- of the party togethe and preserve the Democratic organization. Keep the blood pure, and the health of the system will follow. Gratoful thousands proclaim Vinegar Bit* TKXS the most wonderful Invigorant that ever sustained the sinking system. Pin, Tape, anti other Worms, lurking ii the system of so many thousands, are effectually de stroyed and removed. Says a distinguished physiol ogist: There is scarcely an individual upon the faceoftht earth whose body is exempt from the presence of worms. It is not upon the healthy elements of the body that worms exist, hut upon the diseased humors and slimy deposits th.At breed these living monsters' of diteaic. No system of Medicine, no vermifuges, no anthelais- itics, will free the system from worms like these Hit ters. Mecnanlcal Disease!. To guard against this take a dose of Wai.Kbk’s Vinsg/vr Bitters ooci or twice a week as a Preventive. Bilious, Remittent, and IutermltUnt Pe vers, which are so prevalent in the valleys of our great rivers throughout the United States, especially those of the Mississippi, Ohio, Missouri, Illinois, Tin- nessee, Cumberland, Arkansas, Red, Colorado, Brazos, Rio Grande, Pearl, Alabama, Mobile# Savannah, Roan oke, Jaintfs, and many others, with their vast tributa ries, throughout our entire country during the Summer and Autumn, and remarkably so during seasons of unusual heat and dryness, are invariably accompanied bv extensive derangements of the stomach and liver, and other alxloininai viscera. There are always more or less obstructions of the fiver, a weakness and irritable stats of the stomach, and great torpor of the bowels, being clogged up with vitiated accumulations. In theirtTMi* ment, a purgative, exerting a powerful influence upon these various organs, is essentially necessary. There is no cathartic for the purpose equal to Dr. J. Walker's Vinrgar IJittkrs, as they will speedily remove ths dark colored viscid matter with which the bowels are loaded, at the same time stimulating the secretions of the liver, and generally restoring the healthy functions of the digestive organs. Scrofula, or Klnff*s Evil, White Swellings, Ulcers, Erysipelas, Swilled Neck, Goiter, Scrofulous Inflammations, Indolent Inflammations, Mercurial Af fections, Old Sores, Eruptions of the Skip, Sore Eves, etc., etc. In these, as in all otherconstitution.il Dis eases, Walker’s Vinrgar Bitters have shown their great curative powers in the most obstinate and intract able cases. Dr. Walker’s California Vinegar Bills** act on all these cases in a similar manner. By purifying the Blood they remove the cause, and by resolving the effects of the inflammation (the tubercular deposits) the affected parts receive health, and a permanent cure ■ is effected. Tlie properties of Dr. Walker’s Vihsgar BrVTERs are Aperient, Diaphoretic and Carminative, M Nutritious, Laxative, Diuretic, Sedative, Counter-Im- tant. Sudorific, Alterative, and Anti-Bilious. The Aperient ’and mild Laxative properties of Dr Walker’s Vinegar Bitters are the best safe guard in all cases of eruptions and malignant fevers, their balsamic, healing, and sootlring properties protect tlie humors of the fauces. Their Sedative properties allay pain in the nervous system, stomach, and bowels, either from inflammation, wind, colic, cramps, etc Their Counter-Irritant influence extends throughout the system. Their Diuretic properties act on the Kid neys, correcting and regulating the flow of urine. Their Amt-Bilious properties stimulate the liver, in the secre tion of bile, and its discharges through the biliary ducts, , and are superior to all remedial agents, for the cure of Bilious Fever, Fever and Ague, etc . ^ Fortify the body agalmt disease bv puri fying all its fluids with Vinegar Bitters. No epi* * demic can take hold of a system thus forearmed. The liver, the stomach, the bowels, the kidneys, and thu *| nerves are reudered disease-proof by this great io«r orant. u : Directions.—Take of the Bitters on going to bed at night from a half to ono and one-half wme-glassfch Rat good nourishing food, auch as beef steak, mottos chop, venison, roast beefi and vegetables, and on out-door exercise.
