Burglars Arrested-
Policeman Wood arrested two vagrant
negro boys last Sunday night. They had
broke into the restaurant of Ueppic & Co.
and were helping themselves to the good
filings of that institution, when the po
liceman nabbed them. They are now in
jail from which we hope they will be es
corted to the Penitentiary where they
rightfully belong.
On .Monday a negro was arrested in tlie
.‘lore of Jas. A. Jones & Co., in the act of
stealing a pair of shoes. He was put in
fiie guard house, but having a holy horror
of tlie Superior Court now in session, he
broke tlie lock and “vamoosed.”

The Verdict-
A jury is supposed to represent fairly

from which it is taken. The guilt or in-
inccnee of a party, the value or worth-
le.-mess of an article is established by its
vr.liet. A verdict has recently been
r.miered by a jury composed of 1 lie best

Health and Beauty Combined.
Woman’s Riuhts.
One who has long studied this absorbing
subject now presents to the women of our
country the result of his investigations. He
is happy to say that he has at last discover
ed “Woman’s Best Friend.” It is adapted
especially to those cases where the womb is
disordered, aud will cure any irregularity
of the “menses.” Dr. J. Bradfield’s Fe
male Regulator acts like a charm in
“whites,” or in a sudden check of the
“monthly courses,” from cold, trouble of
mind or like causes, by restoring the dis
charge in every instance. So also in chron
ic cases its action is prompt and decisive,
and saves the constitution from countless
evils and premature decay. This valuable
preparation is for sale at $1.50 per bottle
by all respectable Druggists in the land
Prepared and sold by L. H. Bradfield, Drug
gist, Atlanta, Ga. A thousand women testi
fy to its merits.
