liamson’s mule ran away with Billy
Buriow’s wagon. They were both
in the wagon, but got out without

fully passed away on the morning
of August 27th 1885, in the 16th

tomb with the assurrance that while
our Sunday school has lost one of
its brightest, purest members, an
other pure spirit has gone to join
the throne. Possessed of a noble,
generous nature she was beloved
by all who knew her.

who has promised to be the friend
of the widow and orphan may be

Burglary at Newnan.
The storeroom of Messrs. Kin
nard A Brown, on Bay street, whs
burglarized Tuesday’ night and a
lot of clothing taken from it. En
' trace was effected throgh the trans
som over the Back door, after
• which the double back door was
unbolted and opened. Mr. Kin
nard had occasion to go to the
store ednesday morning earlier
than usual and was surprised to
find the door standing open. Upon
investigation, the stock was found
short of three cloth coats and a
number of other coats, pants and
vests, amounting in value to about
Sis. Four negroes, Burwell liars
res, Abe Lipscomb, Emanuel New
ell, and \\ ill Moreland were :
committed and lodged in jail upon j
