The Choir of Grace Episcopal Church
Met on Thursday evening with Miss
Eva Bump. After completing the bus
iness of revising and adopting the con
stitution, a pleasant social hour was
spent.
The work is now fully organized, un
der the name of “St. Cecelia’s Choir,”
and under the direction of its able
leader, Prof. August Geiger, the choir
expects to be able to accomplish some
good work in the future. Any person
desirous of becoming a member and
securing the advantages of such train
ing should make application to the
choir master or to any one of the mem
bers. A provision has also been made
for the “non-musicals” to become asso

its social privileges.
Forsyth’s Blew Court House-
The contract for the new court house
for Forsyth county to be erected at
Cumming has been let to an Atlanta
contractor by the ordinary of that
county. The new temple of justice is to
cost $24,000. The ordinary very posi
tively decided not to place a clock in the
tower. The people of the county want
a clock and want it bad. They have
proposed to raise money by private sub
scription to purchase and put in a big
clock, even the renters contributing to
the fund.
Congratulations.
Mr. John H. Cullom, Editor of the
Garland, Texas, News, has written a
letter of congratulations to the manu
facturers of Chamberlain’s Cough Rem
edy, as follows: “Sixteen years ago
when our first child was a baby he was
subject to croupy spells and we would
be very uneasy about him. We began
using Chamberlian’s Cough Remedy in
1887, and finding it such a reliable rem
edy for colds and croup, we have never
been without it in the house since that
time. We have five children and have
given it to all of them with good re
sults. For sale by M. C= Brown.
