Bxecutors’ Sale.
Georgia—Hall County.
.. virtue of the authority given under
the last will and te«tamont of W. R
Hancock, late of said county, deceased
there will be sold before the court house
door of said Hall county, on the first
Tuesday in November, 1911, within the
legal hours of sale, to the highest and
best bidder, at public outcry, the fol
lowing described property, Do wit:
No. 1. One tract or parcel of land
containing two hundred and sixty-five
acres, more or less, and described as fol
lows, to wit: Bounded by lands of John
Gilmer on the south, Oconee river and
other lands of said W. R. Hancock on
the east and north, and by lands of W.
A. Hancock on the west. On said land
there is about one hundred and twenty
acres in cultivation, twenty five acres
in bottom land, and about one hundred
acres in upland, balance in old field and
forest. Upon said land there is one
dwelling house and six tenant houses
one gin house and barn and out build
ings. Said above described land known
as the late home place of the said W
R. Hancock.
No. 2. One tract or parcel of land
containing one hundred and fifteen and
three-fourths acres, more or less, and
bounded on the east by the Oconee river,
on the north by lands of F. W. House,
on the west by land of W. A. Langford,
and on the south by lot No. 1. Upon
said land there is a dwelling house, barn
and out houses, forty or fifty acres in
cultivation, about fifteen acres in bottom
land, and thirty or thirty-five acres in
upland, balance in old field and forest.
This land is known as a part of the
David King place.
No. 3. One hundred and sixty acres
of land, more or less, aujoining land of
No. 1 on the west, and lands of Newton
Gilmer on the north, east and south.
Upon said land there is two dwelling
houses and out houses, about seventy
acres in cultivation, forty acres, in bot
tom land, thirty-five or forty acres in
upland, balance in old fields and forest;
said land is known as the Dan Gilmer
place.
No. 4. Thirty-eight acres of land,
more or less, adjoining lands of John
Gilmer on the north, on the east by land
of Newt Gilmer, on the south by estate
of W. S. Lipscomb, and on the west by
other land of the said W. R. Hancock
About ten acres in cultivation and bal
ance in forest. Said land is known as
the A. B. Gilmer place.
No. 5. Thirty-six acres of land, more
or less, adjoining lands of Mrs. M. A.
Randolph and estate of W. S. Lipscomb,
deceased, west by R. J. Highfield, north
and east by lot No. 4. Upon this land
there is one tenant house and out houses
and about fifteen acres in cultivation,
balance in old fields and forest.
No. 6. Seventy-four and four-tenths
acres, more or less, adjoining lands of
D. W. Eberhart on the north, Thomp
son on the east and south, Cook and
other land of said W. R. Hancoke on
the west. Upon this land there is a
dwelling house and out buildings; there
is about thirty acres in cultivation, ten
acres in bottom land, and about twenty
acres in upland, balance in old fields
and forests.
No. 7. Sixty-six and six-tenths acres
of Land, more or less, adjoining lands of
Stewart on the south, Cook on the
north, Parks on the west, and lot No. 6
on the east. Upon said land there is a
dwelling house, about thirty acres in
cultivation, about five acres in bottom
land and about twenty-five acres in up
land, balance in forest.
All of the above-mentioned lands are
lying and being in Tadmore District of
Hall County, Ga.
Also at the same time and place will
be sold the following described land ly
ing and being in Millers District of
Jackson County, Ga.: Seventy-three
acres of land, more or less, adjoining
land of H. J. Randolph on the west, J.
O. Hancock on the south, William Wal
lace on the east, by other land of the
said W. R. Hancock on the north. Upon
said land there is a five-room dwelling
house, tenant house, and out houses,
about twenty-five acres of upland, bal
ance old fields and forest.
Also sixty-two and one-half acres of
land, more or less, lying and being in
said Millers District of Jackson County,
Ga., bounded by lands of Gilmer on the
north and west, and William Wallace
on the east, and other lands of said W.
R. Hancock on the south. There are
about thirty acres of land in cultiva
tion, balance in original forest.
Plats of all the foregoing land can be
seen by calling on the Executors of said
will.
Also at the same time and place will
be sold five shares of the capital stock of
the First National Bank of Gainesville,
Ga., of the par value of one hundred
dollars each.
Also will be sold fifteen shares of the
capital stock of the Atkins National
Bank of Maysville, Ga
All of the foregoing described prop
erty to be sold as the property of the es
tate of W, R. Hancock, deceased, for
the purpose of paying the debts of said
W. R. Hancock, deceased, and for mak
ing distribution among the legatees un
der said will.
Terms of sale: The land one-half
cash, balance twelve monihs after date;
notes will be taken for deferred pay
ments, with interest from date at eight
per cent per annum; bond for titles
given until all purchase money is paid,
purchaser having the privilege of pav
ing all cash. The bank stock will be
sold for cash.

is to give notice that W. N. Akins has
in due form of law filed his petition to be
appointed permanent administrator upon the
estate of J. W. Akins, late of said county.
This application will be considered and passed
upon on the first Monday in November, 1911.
