Last Friday night a negro broke
in Charley Holland’s house the
negro stole Charleys pants and
started out when Charley woke and
started after him in his nightclothes.
Charley met some one down the
street and told them about it and
the man went in Mr. Bagwell’s
house to get him and found him
asleep. He did not wake him but
grabed his pants for Mr. Holland.
Mr. Holland put them on and they
laped around him twice and butened
in the back. About that time Mr.
Bagwell woke and couldent find his
pants started out in his night clothes
Mr. Holland chased the negro a
little while and dident catch him
started back home. Then the ne
groes down by Dr. Green’s mill got
in a row and some white people
went down there and told them that
they would have to move by 7 o'clock
Saturday.
Mr. Bagwell got his pants back
but Mr. Holland dident.
Mr. Freddie Grigg and miss
Ethel Malum were married last
Sunday at 9O' clock. They w ere
married at the home of Mr. Hughes
where thay will live.
