Death of Ex-Governor Crawford,

nor Geo. W. Crawford died at len

Wilde. From 1827 to 1831, he was

Flom 1537 to 1842, he was member

county. In 1843, he was elected
Congressman and Governor, and re

Htarv of War. In 1861, le was

Convention. Since then, he has
hved in retirement.
Governor Crawford was a repre
sentative Georgian, and his career
