There is no death! An angel form

He leaves our hearths all desolate—
He plucks our fairest, sweetest Sowers;
Transplanted into bliss they now

Made glad this scene of sin aud strife,
Sings now in everlasting song
Amid the tree of life.
And where he secs a smile too bright,
Or hearts too pure for taint and vice;
He hears it to that world of light
To dwell in Paradise.

With joy we welcome them—the same,
Except in sin and pain.

The dear, immortal spirits tread;

In di-f.-rcnce to the physical inability of
Mr. Fessenden, to enter upon the discus

of the hill was postponed until Wednes-

The House to day considered the pre
amble and resolutions of Representative
W. C. Clury, of Missouri, declaring the
continued contumacy in the seceded
States; considers it necessary toexeicise
Congressional legislation 4n order to give
the loyal citizens of those States protec

enumerated in the Constitution , and in
addition thereto, makes it necessary to
keep on foot a large standing army to
maintain the authority of the govern ineut;
and whereas, the country is already over-
burdt ned by a war debt Incurred to dc-
fenj the nationality against an infamous
rebellion, it is neither just nor politic to
inflict this vast additional expense on the
peaceful and industrious citizens of the
nation, therefore
Resolved, That it be referred to the WM - 0oBD0 *-
Committee on reconstruction as to the
expediency of levying contributions on
the seceded States, to defray the extra
ordinary expenses that will otherwise be
imposed on the General Government;
and that said Committee be instructed to
report by bill, or otherwise.
The House adopted the above by a
vote of 73 against 35.
The House also passed the following
resolution, which was introduced by Hen
derson of Missouri:
Resolved, That it is the sense of this
House that all just and righteous govern

you made for my wife about 8 years ago, are
all that could be desired. They are pronoun
ced by all who have seen them as beautiful, and
as to their durability and usefulness, I would
state, they never have needed repair, and that
my wife’s health has been transformed from
bad to good, owing no doubt to their perfect
adaptability to mastication. Wm. G. Herring.
My wife had been afflicted with a nervous
head ache for more than a year, caused from
indigestion consequent upon the I039 of teeth.
Dr. Wiley inserted a set of Artificial Teeth,
and it was but a few weeks when we discover
ed quite an improvement in her health. She
is now enjoying robust health, and I believe is
purely indebted to his skill in assisting nature
tn the discharge of a proper mastication.
