The very Wi, American statesmen—Bonner, Smith brothers Aaron and othere wrangling in the Home of Parlament in < the Columbia District, over a little Vol ume called the “Impending Oriai#,” written by an octoroon named Heifer, \ in which the author proves that unless 1 the States south of the State of New Orleans agree to abolish negro slavery, • the North will supply them with no mors shoe-pegs, and utter financial..r^in.will bo the consequence. Tho memben Parliament who quarrel over this’sill lar book, betray all the^ American efia ncteristics in their savage abuse of enchi otlier, and sometimes they even come to blows. The Hon. The consignees are English subjects, doing business in Philadelphia, and havo called the attention of the British Min? ister to the foots, and jbave asked him to intercede with dur government in their behalf.
