HOSTETTER’S
STOMACH BITTERS,
tbr tts ewe of Dyspepsia, Indigestion, Bitusea,
flatulency. Loss of Appetite, or any BMous
Complaints, arising from a morbid inaction
of tM Stomach or Dowds, producing Cramps,
Dysentery, OoUe, Cholera Morbus, do.
In view of the fact that every member of
the human family is more or less subjected to
some of the above complaints, besides in
numerable other conditions in life, which
by the assistance of a little knowledge or
exeroise of common sense, they may be able
so to regulate their habits of diet, and with
the assistance of a good tonio, secure per
manent health* In order to accomplish this
desired objeet, the true course to pursue is,
certainly, that which will produce a natural
state of things at the least hazard of vital
strength and life; for this end Dr. Hostetter
has introduced to this country a prepara
tion called HOSTETTER’S ST6MA0H
BITTERS, which at this day is nx a new
medicine, but one that has been tried for
years, giving satisfaction to all who have
used it. The Bitters operate powerfully upon
the stomach, bowels and liver, restoring
them to a healthy and vigorous action, ana
thus by the simple process of strengthening
nature, enable the system to triumph over
disease. Diarrhoea, dysentery or flux, so
generally contracted by new settlers, and
caused principally by the ohange of water
and diet, will be speedily regulated by a
brief use of this preparation. Dyspepsia,
a disease which is probably more prevalent
when token in all its various forms, than
any other; the cause of which may alwaya
be attributed to derangements of the diges
tive organs, can be cured without fail by
using HOSTETTER’S STOMACH BIT
TERS as per directions on the bottle. For
this disease every physician will recom
mend Bitters of some kind, then why not
use an artiole known to bo infallible?
Evenr country have their Bitters as a pre
ventive of disease, and strengthening of
the system in general, and among them all
there is not to be found a more healthy
people than the Germans, fro.n whom this
preparation emanated, based upon scientific
experiments which has attended to advanoa
the destiny of this great preparation in the
medical scale of eoienoe.
FEVEB AND AGUE.
This trying and provoking dlKue, which fixu Ha
relentloM grasp on tho body of man, reducing him to
a mere shadow In a short spare of time, and rendering
him physically and menbdly useless, can be defeated
and driven from tbo body hy tho use of HOSTETTER’S
RENOWNED BITTERS, further, any of tho above
stated diseases can not bo contracted when exposed to
any ordinary conditions producing them, If the Bitten
are used as per directions. And aa It neither creates
nausea nor otrends the palate, and rendering unneces
sary any change of diet or Interruption to usual pur
suits, hut promotes sound sleep and healthy digestion,
the complaint la thus removed as speedily as Is con
sistent with the production of a thorough and perma
nent cure.
For Persons in advanced years
Who are suffering from an enfeebled constitution and
infirm body, these Bitters are invaluable as a restora
tive of strength aud vigor, and needs only to be tried
to ho appreciated. And to a mother whila nursing,
there Bitters are Indispensable, especially where the
mother • nourishment Is inadequate to the demands
of the ebild, consequently her strength most yield,
and hen it Is when a good tonic, such as HosteUerY
Stomach Bitters is needed to Impart temporary strength
and vigor to the syatem. Ladies should hy all means
try this remedy for all eases of debility, and before so
doing* ask your physician, who, if ha is acquainted
with the virtues of tho Bitters, will rqoommend their
use in all cases of weakness.
CFCT10N.—We caution the public against
using any of the many imitations or coun
terfeits, but ask forHosTXTTXB's Celebrated
Stomach Bitters, and see that, each bottle
has the words “ Dr. J. Hostctter’s Stomach
Bitters” blown on the side of the bottle, and

cork, and observe that our autograph signa
ture is on the label.
